B17C is a professional stoneware clay body produced from a mixture of low iron clays. This gives a pale colour which is ideal background for decoration. Ideal for throwing as the clay is smooth, with fine silica sand content. Suitable for throwing, modelling, and casting.
- Temperature Range: 1120°C - 1280°C.
- Shrinkage (w-f) 12.4% at 1100°C.
- 0.21% expansion at 500°C.
- Texture (1-smooth 10 coarse) 3.
- Fired colour: Pale Buff.
- 12.5kg bag.
Please note this clay is not air dry clay so will need to be fired in a kiln to make it durable.
