'Taste of Clay' Workshops

'Taste of Clay' workshops are fun, friendly and informal clay sessions aimed at adults of all abilities who enjoy learning new skills and hand building with clay.  Each creative session lasts from 1.5 to 2 hours.

Sessions are aimed at adults of all abilities and the focus is on having fun, learning new skills and enjoying this wonderful medium. You do not need to have had previous experience with clay to take part, as the purpose is to introduce you to simple clay projects that can be enjoyed by all in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Group numbers are kept intentionally small, there are a maximum of 6 spaces per session to ensure that you have plenty of attention. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Please Note. Any of these clay workshops can be made as a bespoke booking privately for your friends or family group (including children).  Please contact me with your enquiry.

Refreshments of tea/ coffee will be provided.

We provide all the materials needed for this session including an apron.  The price includes all clay used and kiln firings.

When your clay project has been completed, it will be left to dry slowly and will then go into the kiln for its first firing (the bisque firing) it will then be glazed and fired for a second time.  This process can not be rushed, but usually your project will be ready 4-6 weeks later.

Please make sure you leave up to date contact details so that you can be contacted when your project is ready to collect.

Please note we do not issue physical tickets, your email confirmation is your proof of purchase.

More sessions for 2020 to be added soon, so watch this space :)
