Handthrown mortar with pouring lip and turned base partnered with a matching pestle. The glossy pistachio glaze has attractive mid brown speckles and is kept off of the hollow centre of the mortar and the tip of the pestle so that grinding can take place between the two unglazed stoneware surfaces.
